This Privacy Policy explains how BTYB (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the BTYB mobile application (the “Platform”).

By using BTYB, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform.

2. Eligibility

BTYB is intended for users aged 13 years or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

• Business information (if applicable)
• Subscription tier
• Billing status

B. Payment Information

Payment information is processed by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

• Views
• Likes
• Shares
• Click-through activity
• Boost activations
• Subscription selections
• CTR cap settings

D. Device & Technical Information

• Device identifiers
• Operating system
• App version
• IP address
• Log data
• Crash reports (via Firebase)

E. Location Data

We collect general location data (such as city, state, or region). We do not collect precise GPS coordinates.

F. Messaging Data

Messages and shared content between users are stored on secure servers hosted via AWS.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected data to:

• Operate and maintain the Platform
• Calculate click-through charges
• Prevent fraudulent activity
• Detect invalid traffic
• Improve performance and stability
• Deliver Boost functionality
• Process subscriptions and payments
• Send service-related communications
• Send marketing emails (where permitted)

5. Click-Through Tracking

When a viewer clicks an external link within an advertisement:

• The click is recorded
• Device and session data may be used to validate traffic
• Clicks are aggregated for billing purposes

We use internal systems and analytics tools to identify invalid or suspicious traffic.

Billing determinations are based on verified click activity.

6. Analytics & Third-Party Tools

We use:

• Google Analytics
• Firebase (Google)
• AWS (hosting and storage infrastructure)

These providers may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We use analytics to understand engagement trends and improve platform functionality.

7. Marketing Communications

We may send marketing emails regarding:

• Platform updates
• New features
• Promotions
• Subscription changes

Users may opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link included in such emails.

Service-related emails (billing, security, account notices) cannot be opted out of.

We do not currently sell personal information.

We retain user data while accounts remain active.

Users may delete their accounts within the app.

Upon deletion:

• Account information is permanently removed.
• Stored messaging data is removed.
• Engagement analytics tied to the user account are deleted.

Some records (such as billing history) may be retained as required for legal or financial compliance.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including:

• Secure hosting via AWS
• Encrypted data transmission
• Restricted access controls

However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to:
